A variety of exciting activities will appeal to all your senses during this unforgettable day of music, animals, delicious speciality food, a farm and a breathtaking array of displays.

After the success of last year’s event, Bruxelles Champêtre is pleased to announce that it has reserved the 22nd September for a day of festivities. Specialties from all around the local area will be brought in to entertain those big and small, all centred around a 2000 square meter lawn that will be specially installed for the day. It is the perfect moment to experience greenery in the heart of the city! The day will also include a classical concert on water, an old carrousel, a workshop on making bread, a modern ball, the possibility to try insects, local brewers, photo souvenirs,… a whole host of activities to complete this unique and exciting event.

Bruxelles Champetre is also the day Brussels celebrates a car free day, meaning that from 10 till 5, the ‘Place des Palais’ will be transformed into a picturesque country landscape right in the heart of the city.

The lawn will serve as a play area for the children, as well as other activities such as face painting, clowns or a ride in the carousel. Asbl Poseco will also provide a source of fun and education through numerous games and discussions on sustainable food. The family is central to this event, with local producers providing an array of products, for the enjoyment of everyone. The bravest amongst you can even try ostrich!
Brussels isn’t known as the home of beer for nothing, with a whole host of local breweries attending the event; you will be able to try a cacophony of beverages. And the exhibition of cartoons will satisfy even the keenest of fans. Music is also at the heart of this day, with a selection to satisfy everyone, including jazz, soul, modern and traditional.
